With Affinity Photo as well, I don't think there is anything at all I can't do. With PhotoLab 5 and the Nik Collection I can do nearly everything I need. I have cancelled my Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom/Camera Raw subscription.

But why would you? The simplicity and power of the latest PhotoLab has blown me away. Or you can get the exact same raw conversion for less money with DxO PureRAW. I've embraced this with all the enthusiasm of the recent convert. OR, is there a better alternative to both?ĭXO PhotoLab. I'm not fond of the SaaS model, it's just a cynical way to lock people in to spending more over their lifetime so would rather just purchase a license. C1 also has this model in its pricing structure but is significantly more expensive. The upside is that you get all future updates providing you continue to pay for the software. I don't think Lightroom has the option other than paying a monthly or yearly subscription.
